Nepali date difference

Count the days, months and years between two dates, in BS or AD. Use it as a Nepali age calculator.

How the difference is counted

The total is the number of days from the “From” date to the “To” date. The years, months and days are counted on the calendar of the “From” date: in BS, a month is a Nepali month, so the result matches how an age is counted in Nepal.

If the starting day doesn't exist in a later month (for example the 32nd in a 30-day month), that month's last day is used. You can enter either date in BS or AD and switch at any time; the date you picked is kept.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate my age in the Nepali calendar?

Set “From” to your date of birth in BS and “To” to today. The result shows your age in years, months and days, counted on the Nepali calendar.

Is the end date included?

No. The total counts the days from the start date up to the end date, so 1 Baisakh to 2 Baisakh is 1 day. Add 1 if you need to count both days.

Can I compare an AD date with a BS date?

Yes. Each date can be entered in either calendar. The “To” date is converted to the calendar of the “From” date before counting.
